Résumé
Prétextant des faits sociaux, Mariama Bâ et Régina
Yaou ont analysé la condition miserable de la femme dans la société africaine. Une
si longue lettre et La Révolte d’Affiba mettent à nu les
dysfonctionnements de la société d’une part, et d’autre part, l’engagement des
deux personnages pour l’émancipation de la femme. A travers les themes du
mariage, de l’instruction et du pouvoir financier, a été démontré l’heroisme
féminin et mis en avant leur militantisme pour l’émancipation et l’affirmation
de l’identité de la femme.

Abstract
Using social facts as a pretext, Mariama Bâ and Régina
Yaou have analyzed the miserable condition of women in African society. Such a
long letter and The Revolt of Affiba expose the dysfunctions of society on the
one hand, and on the other hand, the commitment of the two characters for the
emancipation of women. Through the themes of marriage, education and financial
power, female heroism was demonstrated and their activism for the emancipation
and affirmation of female identity was highlighted.
